WARP
Guys - nice discussion about MMOs and the industry in general. Thanks for all the shows!
That's me above, not one of the various other Bills ...

Thanks for the great podcasts! I'm going to miss hearing about the going ons in the world of Warhammer Online... But I no longer play the game and my subscription expired last month, so "meh" a big whatever for me.
After this I'm going to check out your other podcasts.
Take care.
Sorry to see this podcast ending, I always liked listening to it to keep tabs on what's going on in WAR. Even for a non-subscriber like me the shows were always entertaining. It's too bad the game has ended up like it is, so much wasted potential you know?
Anyways, thanks for keeping it alive long as you had.
my life will be sad and miserable without Warp podcast so I hope you come back soon :) if not thanks for all the good times you have brought me.
btw Anyone remember what books they recommended in the beginning along with Heldenhammer ?
kotor2 was not developed by Bioware. LucasArts gave the IP to Obsidian Entertainment, which is the company that does Bioware-like games (usually their sequels).
Sad to see it go, but wish it could have went before turning the last 5 or so episodes into Whine-Tastings. Hope everyone involved can find a game they enjoy soon enough (as long as its not Aion).
Take care.
atenthirtyone beat me to it. Bioware has always been gold.
I don't think it will mean anything for WAR though.
Thanks guys for the podcasts. It has been fun listening to you over the past couple of months. I started playing WAR (open beta / pre-launch) and listening to your podcasts on a week-to-week basis. I cancelled my WAR sub earlier this week and between CoTCast and your good selves shifting emphasis away from the game I think the guys from BioWare have their work cutout turning WAR around. Player driven content is the way to go in MMOs in my opinion. I am off to play Eve and looking forward to discovering your next podcast project. Cheers!
I am sort of sad and happy they are on a break with the podcast. For a long time I think WARP was the best Warhammer Online podcast’s around. But as some of the members started to fall out of love with the game, negativity started to dominate the show. As I still enjoy the game and look forward to where Mythic will take RvR, listening to shows which constantly say what you’re playing is un-enjoyable and floored starts to wear thin.
I hope Mythic add what you need to Warhammer to find enjoyment in the game, as it was a great podcast.
Just wanted to say that I understand your frustration with this game. I wish there was something else that would provide me with the HOT RVR action I need. Anyway, I've been listening to WARP since the beginning and I will miss it. Thanks for my first podcast appearance. I was the idiot that left the Prolly message. Good Luck and I hope this game gets fixed and WARP comes back. But I really doubt that WAR's problems get fixed.
Thanks,
Tony
KOTR2 is not Bioware!
Great podcast, guys. Finally got around to listening to it. Over all, I'm disheartened to hear the podcast is going on hold but find the reasoning to be quite understandable. Warhammer hasn't really lived up to the expectations of many, and even new content like LoTD apparently hasn't re-invigorated the player base. It's even added more cracks to a degree.
Still, it was fun listening to you guys chat each week, and I'll miss your weekly podcasts. So I do hope you'll come back to the game but in general, I'm not holding my breath.
Good luck and best wishes to you guys.
Yea I don't blame you guys for canceling the podcast..i quite about 2 months ago and that was after canceling and re subbing for about 4 months :P I still loved to listen to the podcasts to wonder whats been going on with the game and I Hope to see you guys playing some TF2 and maybe one day SWTOR? Is there a way i can join the Dead Workers party for TF2? been loving the spy lately! :P
I play blood bowl. Whats your regular play time?
Well, thanks guys. I listened to you guys from day one, and experienced the same highs and lows as you did.
I've not cancelled my sub to Warhammer - yet - just jumping in an hour a week to see what's new.
I would compliment you guys not only for being one of the best Warhammer podcass out there, but one of the best mmo/gaming ones.
Thanks for letting us know your closing up shop, and not simply fadcast away.
I was wary of WAR at first, but you guys (via your always good podcasting) had finally convinced me to play WAR about a month ago, and I like the RvR so far! It's an experience that WoW and other MMOs lack. I haven't gotten far enough to be disillusioned with the end-game, and I started playing when apparently you guys quit (except for Wes). =(
Oh well, you all had (and still have other ones) a unique podcast and a fun approach/perspective when it comes to gaming.
I'll miss WARP, and I had hoped to enjoy the guild experiences you all had discussed. But should you ever return, I'll be playing for at least another month. *salutes*
See you guys on Control Point or in whatever you decide to talk about!

Ah I love this podcast!
It actually got me to start playing the game again recently.
Oh well maybe you guys can make a champions online podcast :p
I guess I can enjoy old episodes until then.
I use to love WARP. However glad its dead .. good topics however it became the anti-Warhammer podcast. I hope you all find a game you enjoy because it's that. A game.
Take care
"It became the anti-Warhammer podcast" Because all the love and enthusiasm of the game was sucked dry by Mythics inability to pull their collective heads out of the sand, and fix the damn game. For those who still love and play the game? I bet i know what classes you play....
loved the game, but I do agree with them in the sense that Mythic seriously need to fix it before launching new stuff. I hope they do put on some wax and polish off the massive sixpack that is currently hidden behind a long list of bugs and of course mikejl's raging boner.
I did enjoy the podcast and am sad to see it take a nap...
btw: they're launching a new forum with a new system of registrating bugs, or perhaps its just me being an idiot ^^,

I've just finished listening to the WARP series about a year after they finished... Thanks for your efforts! Any chance you will do a retrospective episode?
