brett, don't be such a jerk. I hope Ash's OK. IS HE!?!? AND WERE'S CLYDE!?!?!?
hey when you guys talked about the charger... you left out some stuff the charger is like a mini tank but he has is own team work ability he is not strictly there to keep away campers.
he breaks up the team, the charger will grasp a survivor and pound them into the ground until he dies or the survivor dies. Even on easy the charger can do horrific damage, but there is a draw back to his strength, the charger is very weak in health and will die just as fast as a hunter but not as fast as a boomer. Also when i heard the left 4 dead 2 pod cast you guys didn't talk much about the AI director well... Now its the AI 2.0 its a new director all right. The director will change path ways weather and where the horde will now "roam" not to mention at certain points of weather the witch will actually roam... making it hard to pick her out of large crowds of infected... (it sucks... but it'll be a cool challenge) And last, Only one new special infected is known out of three. (meaning two are left...) And that is the charger.
Keep putting out those podcast i love hearing them!

The boomer is the most important character in the team, as far as it can be in a team game. I totally agree with the boomer being in command. Even if all you do is wait for the boomer then attack, you do so much better. My only advice with the boomer is remember the delay between pressing vomit and the boomer actually vomiting, it's almost a second. That's easily enough time for you to get punched if you attack too close or shot if you attack too far. Don't just leap out in front of the survivors as this delay will be fatal. Also, stay in ghost mode as long as possible. The earlier you spawn the more time you give them to prepare and the likelier it is you will be found before you can boom them. Also, if you get the chance then spawn somewhere that the survivors have already checked. They will logically assume that a room with only one entrance which they can see the approach to at all times and that has been confirmed too be empty is indeed empty. But an enterprising boomer can use ghost mode to their advantage and spawn where it is logically impossible, giving you the most important thing for a boomer to have- the element of suprise.
Another sweet podcast, very enlightening.
