We didn't have much of an episode planned this week, so instead of an episode made up of 34 minutes and 23 seconds of cricket sound effects, we decided to call up some folks on Skype and talk about L4D. Joining us this week is Ifrit, AshWilliams and Sam Houston.

- and not much more!
The pre-order only gave you the demo for 6 days earlier than the general demo. It's nothing like paying for the demo, unless you view the week as what you're paying for, rather than the game itself. Anyway, the general demo was released recently, so everyone can try.
where's the bump for my engineer costume?! Eric promised!
Panda, the pre-order also saved you 5 dollars. Early demo + $5 discount = win.
I sound terrible.
Oh, right, I forgot about the discount. Anyway, my point was that you weren't shelling out $45 for nothing, and also that the demo wasn't restricted to only pre-orders, so you didn't have to buy the game to try it out, though you had to wait 6 days.
If you play this episode backwards you can hear a creepy voice saying the location of Episode 50.
I kinda liked the beginning with the in-game podcast. You guys should do an in game podcast and record it as a demo. Not necessarily during a game, as that would be madness. And Sparta.
Maybe when you do a map review, actually walk through the map, pointing out both nooks and crannies.
You could do little tutorial segments too.
It also opens the door for amusing shenanigans.
There was a gaming talk show I saw a few episodes of that was done entirely in Halo2, it was pretty cool.
..wait so there REALLY IS NO EPISODE 50?
i don't know why but that has driven me insane
Yea! I got mentioned in the beginning were they were listing all of the names!
That explains why I couldn't find the newest episode on iTunes. And then I found out I wasn't subscribed. So it's good to know I'm not insane.
Fun intro too. :D
I am enjoying the hell out of Left 4 Dead. I didn't really expect it to be this fun. I was really hesitant to buy it, but now I'm really glad I got it. I really can't wait to see the other "movies" that Valve releases and maybe even some of the stuff that people who make custom maps will come up with at a later time.
OH HEY
THAT'S MEEEEE
